A weakening frontal boundary near the northern islands will
continue to gradually lift northward away from the state, as the
parent surface low to the north weakens. Breezy easterly trade
winds should return by this weekend and into early next week as a
large surface high builds over the eastern Pacific.  A more
typical trade wind pattern should prevail after this weekend with
showers mainly confined to windward regions and continue through
much of next week.  The guidance overall shows good agreement on
the overall synoptic scale features for the upcoming week, with
the main difference being more of an inverted surface trough with
the GEFS mean compared to the EC mean by the end of the week.
