A favored composite of well clustered guidance suggests that
strong mid-latitude upper trough amplification to the north of the
state will drive a weakening but moisture and shower focusing
front into the state Friday/Saturday from the north. Frontal
approach will act to disrupt currently moderate northeast trades.
Post-frontal high pressure favors more easterly trades in a
pattern with a windward/mountain lingering shower focus this
weekend into next week. A less certain second frontal approach
around next midweek could again effect trades and focus moisture
and showers.
