Upper heights will slowly rise near Hawai'i during the period.
Tail end of a weak boundary may touch off some showers during the
next couple of days as trades trend back to normal speeds but out
of the east to southeast. With atmospheric moisture likely below
average from later in the week onward, generally light
windward/mauka showers are expected as a frontal boundary sinks
southward toward Kauai. This front will likely be fighting upper
ridging that may build in from the west by late in the week or
into the weekend per the ensembles. ECMWF/ECMWF ensembles remain
stronger with the upper ridge next weekend than the GFS/GEFS.
Prefer a solution nearer to the ECMWF at this point.
