An upper high will build to the northwest of the region, allowing
weaknesses aloft to slip in from the north and east. A surface
high will track eastward to the north of the region, increasing
trades this weekend. A mostly dry pattern is expected with no
organized areas of heavy rainfall amid precipitable water values
around 1.00-1.25 inches. A weak upper low may meander near or just
east of the islands around midweek, perhaps disrupting trades and
increasing the shower threat for the Big Island. A front may sink
southeastward from the Dateline around midweek but likely stay
well northwest of the area.
