Guidance reasonably agrees that strong high pressure bridging to
the north of the state will support brisk island trades for the
next week. Upper troughing to the northeast of the state through
early next week and lingering island moisture should support a
mainly windward terrain/mountain shower focus pattern. Rainfall
should be generally modest and moisture may gradually decrease for
the coming workweek, but there is some signal for an influx of
tropical moisture into the Big Island from the southeast into next
weekend.
