A weak mid-level low will meander near/over the region through the
weekend amid a rather dry lower atmosphere, promoting only
scattered windward/mauka showers. Precipitable water values will
rise a bit next week as trades ease next Sun-Tue as the pressure
gradient relaxes ahead of a front to the northwest. By later in
the week, heights will build both to the west and east of the
region, keeping the state in a similar trade wind shower regime. A
model/ensemble blend should suffice given good synoptic agreement.
