Weaker trades will remain over the are through Tuesday, promoting
only scattered windward/mauka showers. Some instability may
increase by Tuesday across the islands as an upper low passes by
well to the northeast of the area. By later in the week, heights
will build both to the west and east of the region, keeping the
state in a typical trade wind shower regime. These two areas may
try to bridge across the region next weekend. A model/ensemble
blend should suffice given good synoptic agreement.
