Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 319 AM EDT Sat May 29 2021 Valid 00Z Sun May 30 2021 - 00Z Sun Jun 06 2021 Trade winds will veer to a southeasterly direction in response to a cold front which should stay well to the north of Hawaii. As the cold front dissipates, surface high pressure again will build north of the islands which should bring back the moderate to locally breezy trades by the middle of next week and continuing into next weekend. This pattern supports stable and dry conditions across Hawaii for the next week, with local sea breeze driven afternoon showers tending to favor the mountain and interior sections. The latest models and ensembles all show very good agreement on this overall large scale pattern. Santorelli
