Ridging aloft and surface high pressure situated north of the
region is expected to remain in place throughout the forecast
period. There are some suggestions that shortwave energy well
north (40N-50N) may try to break down ridging (or at least
suppress its strength) but this is not expected to have much
impact on the sensible weather for the area. Fairly typical trade
wind regime will favor scattered leeward and interior section
showers.
