High pressure bridging to the north and settling northeast of the
state will support moderate to locally brisk island trades this
week that will focus rainfall over windward terrain. Remnant
tropical moisture from a weakened disturbance slated to skirt
along and to the south of the state Thursday/Friday may fuel more
widespread showers. Expect relatively drier air and upper ridge
development over the islands in the wake of these systems this
weekend into next week. Overall, a composite blend of reasonably
well clustered model and ensemble guidance seems reasonable.
