Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 920 AM EDT Tue Aug 17 2021 Valid 00Z Wed Aug 18 2021 - 00Z Wed Aug 25 2021 The upper level low currently situated north of Hawaii is expected to track gradually westward near 30 degrees north through the end of the week and slowly weaken. Hurricane Linda in the eastern Pacific will likely be the main weather story through the weekend into early next week. Linda is forecast to track west-northwest and gradually weaken over cooler waters as it approaches to the northeast of the Big Islands on Sunday.
