Latest models and ensembles still overall agree that moderate
trades will support some windward/mountain showers today, but will
gradually weaken into next week in transition to a more sea/land
breeze shower focus. Precipitable water values staying below
climatology into midweek as separate areas of moisture pass by to
the north and south of the state, so most rainfall should be on
the lighter side. Moisture may rebound underneath a slow moving
upper weakness to emerge over the state mid-later next week in a
wetter pattern as trades return to moderate to brisk levels as
high pressure builds to the north and northeast of the state.
