Modest trades and a relatively dry pattern should linger into
midweek, but guidance suggests moisture and scattered showers may
gradually rebound as a slow moving upper weakness digs over and to
the west of the state. Models and ensembles agree that trades
should return to moderate to brisk levels mid-later week as high
pressure builds to the north and northeast of the state in a
pattern increasingly favoring windward terrain showers. New upper
trough development over the state over the weekend may act to
again disrupt trades and allow some collection shower fueling
moisture into early next week.
