The Hawaii domain will be in a col within the surface subtropical
ridge with the main surface high displaced well to the
east-northeast to begin the work week.  The ensemble means depict
the high briefing building in north of the state on Thursday
before a cold front slowly approaches from the northwest by
Friday, with the boundary likely staying north of the Islands. 

In terms of rainfall potential, expect scattered to numerous
showers and thundershowers through Tuesday morning, and then
mainly terrain/sea breeze enhanced showers through the rest of the
week and into the weekend with a drier overall pattern
anticipated.  Trade winds are expected to be lighter than usual
owing to a weaker overall pressure gradient for most of the week.
