The latest models and ensembles still reasonably agree to
gradually build upper ridging over the state through at least the
weekend in a drier pattern with limited windward terrain focusing
showers with returning trades as high pressure bridges to the
north and northeast of Hawaii. There remains some guidance signal
that trades may temporarily weaken early next week in response to
system passage to the north of the state and trailing showery
frontal approach from the northwest.
