Upper ridging is forecast to remain in place through about
mid-week before weak shortwave troughing passes just north of the
region.  Breezy to moderate trades will weaken some as the front
approaches but stays to the north.  By Monday, a stronger trough
passes by to the north and erodes the upper ridge that will be in
place through the upcoming weekend. Precipitation chances through
the week will be highest for the topographically favored terrain,
particularly for Wednesday and Thursday as a diffuse area of
moisture moves in from the southeast.  However, no major heavy
rainfall events are expected over the upcoming week.
