Models and ensembles reasonably agree that mean upper troughing
may provide some instability for shower activity across the
islands over the next day or two in a pattern with lightened
trades. Strong high pressure set to re-establish to the north of
the state may favor some deeper moisture transport into the
islands later week into next week as trades return to brisker
levels. This would increase rainfall potential over favored
windward terrain.
