Models and ensembles generally agree in now showing a pattern with
moderate to locally breezy trades well into next week along with
some windward and mountain showers as high pressure re-establishes
to the north of the state. Meanwhile, upper troughing may prove
slow to dislodge next week to enhance instability. Guidance also
shows some increase in moisture, especilaly into the southern
islands into Sunday-Tuesday. This seems to favor a wetter trade
wind pattern, with more numerous showers especially for windward
and mauka locations, but with some potential to spill into leeward
areas.
