A favored composite of reasonably clustered guidance supports
moderate to locally breezy trades this week as high pressure
bridges to the north of the state. Meanwhile, mean upper troughing
over the state may tend to enhance instability and may prove slow
to dislodge. This pattern will favor showers over windward and
mountain areas, but with potential for some spillage into leeward
areas. A guidance signal for some increase in moisture over the
next few days seems supported by blended precipitation water
satellite loops that show a deeper moisture axis just south of the
state. Overall, predictability and continuity seem better than
normal.
