Guidance continues to depict a pair of relatively strong fronts 
trailing south from cyclones in the mid-latitudes to approach or 
reach the islands during the forecast period. The first front 
should make its closest approach this weekend but staying north of
the islands before it weakens. A second, and possibly third, 
front appears to approach the region by midweek next week, and 
possibly stall over or near Kauai late next week. This looks to 
bring a period of increased, possibly heavy, precipitation to 
mainly Kauai as a possible cut off low drifts southward to the 
west of Hawaii. Wind speeds across much of Hawaii, but especially 
the western islands, look quite gusty by next Friday and Saturday.
