This page shows the results of two medium-range specific blending tools at HPC. The Masterblender allows the HPC forecater to choose and blend a subjectively chosen suite of model sources. See links Day3 thru Day7 to view the results of this blending tool. The MOS blender allows the HPC forecaster to choose and blend a subjectively chosen suite of temperature (MaxT, MinT) and PoP sources. See the MOS link to view the result of this blending tool. A blend serves as a starting point which the HPC forecaster modifies to produce it's medium range product suite. WARNING - the contents of this page show only the starting point - not the final product which is influenced by HPC forecaster expertise and collaboration with the WFOs. CAUTION - the contents of this page are updated only when these two blending tools are utilized by the HPC forecaster. =========================================================================== Model Source Legend for GIFS: cmc = Canadian Global dgex = DGEX ecmwf_hr = ECMWF (hi res) gefs = GEFS Mean gec00 = GEFS Control gepxx = GEFS Ensemble (xx is 01 thru 14) gfs = GFS nam = NAM nogaps = NOGAPS srefmean = SREF MEAN ukmet = UKMET
