ABOUT THESE IMAGES For the Sea Level Pressure images, the red contours are the forecast valid at the specified time, and the blue contours are the verification valid at that time. For the 500 mb Height images, the red contours are the forecast valid at the specified time, and the blue contours are the verfication valid at that time. For the 850 mb Temperature images, the red (blue) contours indicate that the forecast for that time was too warm (cold) compared to the verification valid at that time. The Eta/AVN verification images are valid from the latest (0000Z or 1200Z) and (0600Z or 1800Z) runs. NGM/UKMET verification images are valid from the latest 0000Z or 1200Z run. The MRF verification images are from 0000Z runs and the ECMWF images are from 1200Z runs.
