GREAT BASIN. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS AND SURFACE
OBSERVATIONS INDICATED LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW FALLING ACROSS
PORTIONS OF WYOMING AND COLORADO. LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN SHOWERS
WERE OCCURRING FOR THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF EASTERN COLORADO...AS

AS THE UPPER-LEVEL LOW SHIFTS SLOWLY EASTWARD...SNOW WILL BEGIN TO
WIND DOWN ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE CENTRAL ROCKIES BEFORE
TAPERING OFF TONIGHT. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 6 INCHES IS
POSSIBLE ACROSS HIGHER TERRAIN OF NORTHERN NEW MEXICO...COLORADO
AND SOUTHEASTERN WYOMING...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
SNOW IS ALSO POSSIBLE IN THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS WITH LITTLE
ACCUMULATION EXPECTED. FURTHERMORE...AHEAD OF THIS UPPER
LOW...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF THE SOUTHERN
AND CENTRAL PLAINS AND INTO THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY OVER THE
NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
