U.S. FROM OREGON TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
DOPPLER RADARS AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATED MODERATE TO
HEAVY RAINFALL IMPACTING MUCH OF COASTAL CALIFORNIA AND PARTS OF
THE SOUTHWEST. SNOW WAS ALSO FALLING IN THE MOUNTAINS OF
CALIFORNIA...AND THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE CENTRAL GREAT BASIN AND

IN THE MOUNTAINS OF CALIFORNIA...UPWARDS OF 3 OR 4 FEET OF SNOW IS
POSSIBLE WITH LESSER AMOUNTS OF A FOOT OR TWO FARTHER INLAND
ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE GREAT BASIN...THE CENTRAL
ROCKIES...AND THE SOUTHWEST.
