The front in the Northeast will move offshore by Thursday evening,
pushing away the most abundant moisture and ending the rain there
by Thursday night. Before that time, additional rainfall amounts
of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts are expected across
portions of Maine through Thursday. Rain showers of less than an
inch could continue elsewhere in the Eastern Seaboard on Thursday.
This will be the last storm summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather Service office for additional information.
