The low pressure system is forecast to move slowly northeastward
across the Ohio Valley on Sunday and will move into the Lower
Great Lakes region by Monday. The low combined with tropical
moisture will continue to cause heavy rain across the Ohio Valley
and northern Mid-Atlantic region on Sunday, and heavy rain is
expected to spread into the Lower Great Lakes region by Sunday
night. The heaviest additional rainfall totals are forecast for
the Allegheny Plateau and into the Central Appalachians, where
widespread totals over 5 inches are expected, with locally higher
amounts. Flooding and flash flooding are likely, and Moderate Risk
of excessive rainfall is in effect there on Sunday and Sunday
night.

The next storm summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1100 AM EDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
