At 200 AM CST...A low pressure system with a central pressure of
995 mb, or 29.38 inches of mercury, was located in southern
Ontario. A dying occluded front stretched eastward from the low
across southern Ontario and into Maine and New Brunswick, attached
to a new low pressure center with a central pressure of 994 mb
(29.35 in) located in Prince Edward Island. From this new low, a

back westward across far southern Georgia and the Florida
panhandle. Additionally, a secondary cold front was moving through
the Mid-Atlantic region and into the Southeast. National Weather

of Michigan. Farther south, a line of rain and thunderstorms
stretched through the Florida panhandle, southern Georgia, and
southern South Carolina along the cold front.

The original low pressure center will continue moving eastward
across Quebec, northern Maine, and into the Canadian maritimes on
Monday, and snowfall associated with the low will end as the low
pulls away. Light snows of 1 to 3 inches are forecast downwind of
the Great Lakes on Monday in the lingering cold air. The front
will be slow-moving across the central and eastern Gulf Coast
through Monday, so rain and thunderstorms are forecast to continue
in parts of the Southeast. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain is
possible, with locally higher amounts when storms train over the
same locations.

The next storm summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 900 AM CST. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
