995 mb, or 29.38 inches of mercury, was located in southern
Ontario. A trough stretched eastward from the low across southern
Ontario and into Maine and New Brunswick, attached to the new low

The original low pressure center will continue moving eastward
across Quebec, northern Maine, and into the Canadian maritimes on
Monday. Snowfall associated with the system will end as the low
pulls away. Light snows of 1 to 3 inches are forecast in the
Adirondacks on Monday. The front will be slow-moving across the
central and eastern Gulf Coast through Monday, so rain and
thunderstorms are forecast to continue in parts of the Southeast.
An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain is possible, with locally
higher amounts when storms train over the same locations.
The next storm summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 300 PM CST. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
