The low pressure system is forecast to continue moving
northeastward into the Upper Midwest on Wednesday. To the west of
the low, snow is expected to persist through the morning in the
Black Hills and in the Central High Plains. A few additional
inches of snow is possible in these areas. In higher elevations of
the Wind River Mountains, Bighorn Mountains, and portions of the
Rockies, over a foot of additional snow is possible over the next
couple of days. Rain will continue to spread north of the low and
frontal system into the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest, with
rainfall totals generally less than an inch. As another front
moves into the Middle Mississippi Valley, an additional 1 to 2
inches of rain is possible there through Wednesday.

The next storm summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1000 AM CDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
