The storm over central Kansas will progress through the Upper
Midwest/Great Lakes regions through Sunday evening. During this
time, the new surface low is expected to connect with the warm

systems are expected to merge Saturday evening and track
northeastward. Ahead of the system, moderate to heavy rain is
expected to continue across the Mississippi, Tennessee, and Ohio
Valleys, as well as the Mid-Atlantic, throughout Sunday. This
system is also expected to bring moderate to heavy snowfall across
the Central Plains, Upper Midwest, and the Great Lakes through
Sunday. Snowfall accumulations of up to 15 inches are possible for
the Upper Midwest/Great Lakes through Sunday evening. Additional
rainfall accumulations of up to an inch possible for the Lower
Mississippi, Tennessee, and Ohio Valleys, with up to 1.5 inches
possible across the Mid-Atlantic by Sunday night.
The next storm summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
