The low pressure system near the Indiana-Illinois border is
expected to move east-northeastward into southern Canada and
slowly weaken by Friday mid-morning. The snow over Colorado will
slowly wane, while gusty winds and accumulating snow are forecast
to slowly wane over portions of Nebraska and Iowa through Friday
morning. Additional snowfall amounts of up to 0.5 inches are
possible. Meanwhile, a separate low pressure center over the Upper
Great Lakes is expected to strengthen and become the primary
cyclone by morning, while moving into Canada. Light snow can be
expected across parts of the Upper Great Lakes as a result.
The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 900 AM MDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
