northern California mountains and Sierra. Through Friday,
additional snowfall accumulations of 4 feet or more are expected
across a large portion of the Sierra. Additional snowfall
accumulations of 1-2 feet, with locally heavier amounts, are
expected across the mountains of northern California, the southern
California coastal ranges, as well as the eastern Oregon, southern
Idaho and western Wyoming ranges. Snowfall accumulations of 6-12
inches, with locally heavier amounts, are expected across the
Nevada and Utah mountains. This system will also continue to
produce periods of periods of very heavy rainfall, with amounts of
5-10 inches possible along the central and southern California
coasts. Flash flooding and debris flows are likely, especially
near, but not limited to burn scar areas. Strong gusty winds can
also be expected along the California coastline, in the Bay Area,
