The lingering light snow over portions of Maine will taper off
over the next few hours with little to no more accumulation
expected. With that, all snow associated with this storm event
will have ended. Thunderstorms and heavy rain will continue in the
Southeast north of the stationary front located over Georgia and
South Carolina and along the cold front. A Slight Risk of
Excessive Rainfall remains in effect through Monday morning for
central North Carolina as the stationary front lifts north as a
warm front, advecting higher moisture northward. Storms training
along the warm front may lead to a quick additional 2-3 inches of
heavy rain. The focused heavy rain threat and potential for
flooding will come to an end late Monday morning as the frontal
system moves off the coast.

This will be the last Storm Summary issued by the Weather
Prediction Center for this event. Please refer to your local
National Weather service office for additional information.
