...The threat for heavy rainfall across southern Florida has ended
as Potential Tropical Storm One pulls away from the Florida
Peninsula...

No Tropical Storm Warnings are in effect for Southern Florida.

At 1000 PM EDT...The center of Potential Tropical Cyclone One was
located 100 miles east of the Florida Peninsula, near 28.3N,
71.0W, with an estimated sea-level pressure of 999 mb (29.50
in/Hg). National Weather Service Doppler radar detected a narrow
band of thunderstorms in southern Florida along a surface trough
axis. However, the bulk of the thunderstorm activity remained on
the eastern flank of the circulation offshore.
