The low pressure center is expected to remain over the coastal
waters through Wednesday with rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall
and strong coastal winds expected to continue across the
Mid-Atlantic and coastal New England. The low will pull away from
the coast Wednesday night into Thursday as high pressure builds
over the Mid-Atlantic region and a cold front begins to approach
from the northwest. Strong onshore flow could lead to coastal
flooding along the East Coast and the Chesapeake Bay.
The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1100 AM EDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
