The low pressure center is expected to push eastward over the open
Atlantic on Wednesday as high pressure builds over the
Mid-Atlantic and a cold front approaches from the northwest,
resulting in subsiding rain chances across the Mid-Atlantic.
However, expect rain to linger a bit longer over Southern New
England as the low moves eastward, possibly bringing an additional
half inch of rain through Thursday morning.
The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1100 PM EDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
