Appalachian Mountains and Western New York.
Flood Watches are in effect across portions of the Southern
Appalachian Mountains
Flood Advisories are in effect across portions of the eastern Ohio
Valley, the DC/Baltimore metro areas, as well as northeastern
North Carolina.
Wind Advisories are in effect for portions of the Northeast,
extending from the New Jersey coast into New York and Southern New
England.

At 900 PM EST...National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicate
that bands of moderate to heavy rainfall cover a broad area,
spanning from the Carolinas into portions of the Ohio Valley,
Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast. The heaviest rainfall is currently
moving over the Upper Ohio Valley into western Upstate New York
along a warm front. The strongest winds associated with
Post-Tropical Cyclone Nicole are currently over portions of the
Mid-Atlantic, where wind gusts are up to 25-30 mph.

Throughout Friday night into Saturday morning, Post-Tropical
Cyclone Nicole will progress towards the Northeast United States,
bringing moderate to heavy rainfall across the northern
Mid-Atlantic states into New England. This is in conjunction with
a cold front that is expected to push through the entire east
coast of the United States.
