...Snow and freezing rain have come to an end for the Carolinas
and southern Mid-Atlantic as the storm system moves into the open

At 900 AM EST...A surface low with a minimum central pressure of
1010 mb, or 29.83 inches of mercury, was located about 400 miles
east of the Outer Banks of North Carolina over the open Atlantic
Ocean. A warm front extended to the northeast of the low, with a
cold front trailing to the southwest over the central Florida
Peninsula and into the Gulf of Mexico. National Weather Service
Doppler Radar indicated all precipitation associated with the
system had moved east off the coast.

air will continue to overspread the region from the northwest. All
