across the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes tonight, bringing heavy
snow, strong winds, and near blizzard conditions along with it.
The heaviest snow will fall across the Minnesota Arrowhead, far
northern Wisconsin, and especially western portions of the Upper
Peninsula of Michigan where totals of 1 to 2 feet are forecast. As
the system pulls away Wednesday into Thursday, bands of lake
effect snow will ramp up downwind of the Great Lakes through the
end of the week.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 900 AM CST. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
