The strong low pressure system will track eastward across
southeast Canada Thursday into Friday, taking the threat of
widespread moderate to heavy snow along with it. However, as the
system pulls away, bands of heavy lake effect snow will ramp up
downwind of the Great Lakes through the end of the week.
Additional snowfall totals of 1-2 feet with locally higher amounts
are expected underneath the most intense and persistent snow
bands.
The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 900 PM CST. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
