in western Washington, northern Idaho, and northwestern Montana.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for northern portions of the
Puget Lowland.
Flood Watches are in effect for the Olympics and Cascades of
Washington.

At 600 PM PST...Surface observations showed a warm front extending
from the eastern Pacific into southwestern Washington, slowly
lifting north. Mosaic radar and surface observations depicted
mostly light with occasional moderate rainfall falling across
western Washington into downstream portions of northern Idaho and
northwestern Montana, in association with the lingering
atmospheric river.

Additional light to occasionally moderate rainfall will continue
across western Washington into the northern Rockies of Idaho and
northwestern Montana. Additional peak rainfall totals of about an
inch (locally higher) are expected through Friday morning with
light rain contiuning through the day. The atmospheric river will
continue to lift north and weaken over the next 24 hours but
impacts from ongoing moderate to major river flooding will
continue with some rivers yet to crest. A break from rainfall will
occur for the northwestern U.S., but more rainfall is in the
forecast beginning Saturday night across western Washington.
