Wintry precipitation associated with this system is expected to
begin tapering off early on Friday, as the cyclone continues
moving northeastward. As the low pressure center moves into
Canada, a cold front will continue to span through the Midwest and
Mississippi Valley, and remaining precipitation in the early
morning should fall primarily as rain. Icy roads and broken tree
limbs will continue to disrupt travel. This system may serve as a
precursor for this region as another late season winter storm
ensues in the coming days.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1000 AM CDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
