Tropical Depression Four - July 27-August 3, 1975

A tropical depression formed in the northeast Gulf of Mexico, moving into the Mouth of the Mississippi
at the end of the month.  The system slowly tracked through Louisiana and Arkansas over the next couple
days, dropping heavy rains primarily to the right of its track across southern Alabama and the western
Florida panhandle.  Below are the storm total rainfall maps for the depression, using data provided by the
National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, North Carolina.
