Tropical Depression Five - July 10-14, 1972

Forming offshore the northern Florida coast, this tropical depression moved around the western
periphery of the subtropical ridge, moving northward into the Carolinas before dissipating in the
Mid-Atlantic states.  Below are storm total rainfall maps for the depression, using data provided
by the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, North Carolina.
