Tropical Depression Eleven - August 29-September 1, 1971

A weak tropical depression formed in the central Bahamas on August 28th.  Moving westward, the low
crossed southern Florida, before turning to the northwest in the central Gulf of Mexico on the 31st.  The
system dissipated shortly after landfall on September 1st.  Below is a storm total rainfall map for the tropical
depression, using data from the National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, North Carolina.
