Tropical Depression #1 - May 30-June 2, 1988

A tropical disturbance developed into a pre-season tropical depression across the western Caribbean Sea,
which moved northward through Cuba and the Florida Straits to the east of Florida before opening up
into a surface trough.   Rainfall was mainly to the east of the track across Cuba and Florida.  Below are
  storm total rainfall maps for the depression, using data provided by the National Climatic Data Center.
