A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CENTERED OVER THE UPPER MIDWEST IS
FUELING SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND HEAVY RAINS THROUGHOUT THE LOWER
AND CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI VALLEYS. DOPPLER RADAR SHOWS A LINE OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALONG AND AHEAD OF A FRONTAL BOUNDARY
THAT IS CURRENTLY ORIENTED FROM EASTERN TEXAS NORTHWARD INTO
CENTRAL WISCONSIN. A LARGE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN ALSO EXTENDS ACROSS
EASTERN
KENTUCKY...TENNESSEE...MISSISSIPPI...LOUISIANA...ARKANSAS...AND
TEXAS. 

FLOOD AND FLASH FLOOD WATCHES ARE CURRENTLY IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS
OF SOUTHEASTERN TEXAS...CENTRAL TENNESSEE...SOUTHEASTERN
INDIANA...SOUTHERN OHIO...WESTERN WEST VIRGINIA...AND PARTS OF
KENTUCKY.

TEXAS...THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY...AND TENNESSEE VALLEY.
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THE MOST INTENSE STORMS.
