AS ANOTHER PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM MOVES INLAND DURING THE DAY
THURSDAY. ADDITIONAL PRECIPITATION TOTALS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED ACROSS CALIFORNIA...EXTREME SOUTHERN NEVADA...AND INTO
ARIZONA...WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 7 INCHES POSSIBLE NEAR THE
MOGOLLON RIM OF ARIZONA. SIGNIFICANT FLOODING AND MUDSLIDES HAVE
BEEN REPORTED IN PARTS OF CALIFORNIA DURING THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS
AND THEY WILL CONTINUE TO BE A PROBLEM THROUGH FRIDAY. SEVERAL
FEET OF SNOWFALL HAVE ACCUMULATED IN SOME LOCATIONS OF THE SIERRA
NEVADA MOUNTAINS WITH ANOTHER 10 TO 20 INCHES POSSIBLE THROUGH
TONIGHT. IN NORTHERN ARIZONA...SNOWFALL TOTALS OF 2 TO 5 FEET ARE
POSSIBLE ABOVE 6500 FEET THROUGH SATURDAY. STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS
WILL AGAIN IMPACT CALIFORNIA AND ARIZONA THROUGH FRIDAY.
