THIS STORM SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO PROGRESS RATHER SLOWLY TOWARDS
THE EAST COAST OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. AS A RESULT OF THE
SLOW MOVEMENT...HEAVY RAIN AND FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS WILL
BECOME AN ISSUE FOR MANY PLACES ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST AND EAST OF
THE APPALACHIANS. SEVERE WEATHER WILL ALSO CONTINUE TO BE A
POSSIBILITY FOR THE DEEP SOUTH AS THE COLD FRONT MOVES INTO A WARM
AND HUMID AIRMASS. IN ADDITION...RAIN WILL EVENTUALLY CHANGE TO
SNOW OVER THE OHIO VALLEY ON THURSDAY AS COLDER AIR WRAPS AROUND
THE ADVANCING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM. OVER PORTIONS OF THE GREAT
LAKES AND INTO UPSTATE NEW YORK...LIGHT TO MODERATE WINTRY
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO FALL ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.

THE NEXT STORM SUMMARY WILL BE ISSUED BY THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL
PREDICTION CENTER AT 1000 PM EST. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR LOCAL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS
EVENT.
