THE FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL MOVE QUITE SLOWLY EASTWARD OVER THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS WITH WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THE
SLOW MOVEMENT AND UNSEASONABLY DEEP MOISTURE FEEDING NORTHWARD
INTO THE SYSTEM FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT
WIDESPREAD HEAVY TO EXCESSIVE RAINFALL AND POSSIBLE FLOODING.
FLASH FLOODING ON SMALLER STREAMS AND CREEKS...INCLUDING LOW WATER
CROSSINGS...MAY TURN INTO LARGE SCALE RIVER FLOODING. RAINFALL
TOTALS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS...WILL BE
COMMON ACROSS THE DEEP SOUTH.

THE NEXT STORM SUMMARY WILL BE ISSUED BY THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL
PREDICTION CENTER AT 1000 PM CDT. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR LOCAL
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS
EVENT.
